My thighs got goosebumps reading your poem out loud. I'm not sure I follow all of the intent of it though. I imagine waves crashing on the sea shore, probably tinged light purple by the false twilight of a rising sun. The pattern of contradictions and distasteful/ugly truths is something I observe in my own life, day by day. The serenity, searing or otherwise, has finally caught up with me, but I still only imagine it as unwanted pain.
Or maybe I'm completely off. Regardless, I'm still enjoying what you write and choose to publish, thank you.
